The Iowa Hunger Coalition is a membership-based organization that includes both organizational and individual members. Members of the Iowa Hunger Coalition are responsible for electing the board of directors at our annual meeting and help guide the direction and advocacy priorities of the coalition. With your financial support, we can be more effective in our advocacy, but do not want cost to be a barrier that prevents any individual or organization from joining the coalition.
Types of Membership
We know that we are stronger anti-hunger advocates when we can speak with a collective voice – that’s why our organizational members support and guide the work of the Iowa Hunger Coalition. Each organizational member designates an individual to represent their organization in the coalition. IHC suggests an annual contribution of $100 per $100,000 in organizational budget for organizational members.
The Iowa Hunger Coalition invites all anti-hunger advocates to join our coalition as individual members. IHC suggests an annual contribution of $50 for individual members.
